The Advanced Collagen/Diffused Redness Laser uses wavelengths and heat to penetrate deep enough into the skin to stimulate the natural production of collagen, which shrinks pores, evens skin tones, reduces redness, and increases the speed of cell turnover. It is a multi-purpose, all season, all skin type solution for overall skin health.

What does it treat?

Stimulates collagen production, tightens existing collagen, targets diffused redness, targets poikiloderma (redness on chest and neck), kills bacteria on and under the skin, refines pores, helps prevent future acne outbreaks, tightens loose skin on the face/neck/decollete, reduces wrinkles and fine lines. Especially effective for diffused redness, rosacea, acne, and other scars.

How long does it last?

Visibly noticeable results after just one treatment. You will have tightened and glowing skin. Usually about 3-5 sessions, four or so weeks apart, depending on the desired effects.

What should I expect during treatment?

A comfortable treatment that does not require topical anesthetics. You will experience a warm sensation on the treated area.

What is the downtime?

Minimal to no downtime. Great for upcoming events. The most common side effect is slight redness that fades shortly after treatment.

Is there anything to avoid before treatment?

Avoid sun tanning, spray tans, and tinted lotions at least 2 weeks prior. Avoid microneedling or laser treatments one week prior. Do not use any medication that causes photosensitivity for at least 72 hours prior. Discontinue Retinols 10 days prior. Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and other anti-inflammatory or blood thinning medications at least three days prior (if ok with Dr.). Treatment area must be free of open sores, lesions, or skin infections.

What post-treatment care is needed?

Although there is no need for post procedure products, we recommend a customized, targeted at-home product regime for continued, desired results.
