Dermal Fillers

A dermal filler is an injectable gel that smooths mild to moderate facial lines, enhances lips, and aims to restore volume loss caused by aging. Fillers restore volume loss in the lower two-thirds of the face including the cheeks, around the mouth, and can be used to plump the lips. Results can last 6-18 months. Conservative approach with natural-looking results.

Juvederm®

A family of hyaluronic acid fillers that restore volume to the lips, cheeks, under-eyes, and nasolabial folds. Smooth, long-lasting results. The dermal filler is gently injected into specific areas to reduce the depth of skin creases - customized for the most natural result.

BOTOX® / Dysport

Neurotoxins (Botox and Dysport) are prescription products used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe forehead lines, crow's feet, and frown lines. The product blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscles, reducing muscle activity and temporarily inhibiting contraction. Results last up to 4 months. Generally takes less than 20 minutes.

Sculptra®

Not a filler - Sculptra works by stimulating your own collagen production over time using poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Results develop gradually and can last 2+ years. Ideal for generalized facial volume restoration. On average 2-3 treatment sessions, at least 3-4 weeks apart.

How do I know which injectable is right for me?

That's exactly what your complimentary consultation is for. Our nurse injection specialist assesses your facial anatomy, skin quality, and aesthetic goals to recommend the ideal treatment or combination of treatments.

How long do injectables last?

Neurotoxins (BOTOX, Dysport) typically last up to 4 months. Most hyaluronic acid fillers last 6-18 months. Sculptra can last 2+ years. Your injector will discuss a treatment schedule with you to individualize a plan.

What should I avoid before injectable treatment?

Two weeks before: avoid any supplements or medication that thin your blood. Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior. Discontinue Retinol two days prior. Avoid any microneedling or advanced laser sessions to the affected area 1 week prior.

What are the post-treatment care instructions?

For neurotoxins: avoid lying down and keep your head upright for 4-6 hours after injections. Do not exercise, sweat, or rub the affected area for 24 hours. For fillers: avoid exercise, direct sunlight, extreme cold, heat, and any type of massage. The procedure takes about 45 minutes and results are immediately visible.
