Description:
Laser Hair Removal is exposure to pulses of laser light that penetrate the skin’s surface and target the hair bulbs, that lie just below the skin, to destroy the hair follicle.
How long Does it Last?
Most laser hair reduction patients enjoy an 80 to 90 percent reduction in hair growth after the laser hair reduction series. Although occasional touch-up sessions may be necessary.
What does it treat?
Removal of undesired hair from most parts of the body including the legs, arms, underarms, back, neck, bikini line and more. The treatment is not suggested for blonde, red or grey/silver hair.
What to expect in my treatment?
Patients may experience mild discomfort like the sensation of a rubber band snapping against the skin.
What is the downtime?
Laser hair reduction patients experience minimal to no downtime after treatment.
Is there anything to avoid pre treatment/during series?
Pre- treatment and through your series, avoid plucking, waxing or extraction of hair. Shaving is recommended. Also, discontinue the use of spray tans and other pigmented lotions for 2 weeks prior a session.
Post Treatment Care:
We recommend sun protection pre and post sessions.
