Red Carpet Ready or Event Treatment
Description:
This treatment is known as the “Red Carpet Ready or Event Treatment”. The Advanced Collagen/Diffused Redness Laser uses wavelengths and heat to penetrate deep enough into the skin, to stimulate the natural production of collagen, which shrinks pores, evens skin tones, reduces redness and increases the speed of cell turn over. It is a multi-purpose, all season, all skin type solution for overall skin health.
Collagen is a protein that is the building block of your skin. It is made by cells located in the deep layer of your skin. The collagen in your skin exists in bundles. Our goal is to stimulate the skin cells to make new collagen and repair the collagen already there. As we age, our collagen is attacked by ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Collagen production is slowed, and existing collagen begins to break down. This leads to the sagging and drooping and loss of elasticity we see with aging.
How long Does it Last?
There will be visibly noticeable results after just one treatment. You will have a tightened and glowing skin.
What does it treat?
The introduction of heat will stimulate collagen production, tighten existing collagen, target diffused redness, target poikiloderma (redness on chest and neck) kill bacteria on and under the skin, and help prevent future acne outbreaks. It will tighten loose skin on the face, neck, and decollate. It reduces wrinkles and fine lines, and reveal a fresher, clearer appearance. This treatment is especially effective in treating diffused redness, rosacea, both acne and other scars.
What to expect in my treatment?
This is a treatment that is comfortable, and does not require without the use of topical anesthetics. You will experience a warm sensation on treated area.
What is the downtime?
This has minimal to no downtime. It is a multi-purpose, all season, all skin type solution for overall skin health. Great for upcoming events. Although most clients report few if any side effects, the most common is a slight redness that fades shortly after the treatment.
Is there anything to avoid pre treatment?
- Avoid sun tanning, spray tans, tinted lotions at least 2 weeks prior to treatments.
- Do not use any medication that causes photosensitivity for at least 72 hours prior to treatment.
- Discontinue Retinols 10 days prior to treatment.
